In 1998, revolutionary Chandrababu together with his persistent efforts succeeded in bringing Microsoft to united Andhra Pradesh. Through persistent consultations with his team and various offers Babu successfully attracted Microsoft to establish their India campus in Hyderabad.
The opening of Microsoft Office in Hyderabad initiated the city's IT revolution while enabling globalisation and sufficient urban development. Chandrababu maintains his high ranking in both Telugu states because of his successful efforts in bringing Microsoft to Hyderabad.
The completion of the Hyderabad chapter allows Babu to begin working on the Andhra Pradesh chapter. The chief minister recently spoke about how the new TCS campus will boost Vizag's growth index.
The Andhra Pradesh government set aside land for the TCS campus in Vizag and the establishment of this campus will create a new IT ecosystem for the city.
Nara Lokesh stated that the TCS campus in Vizag will replicate Microsoft's transformative effect on Hyderabad in 1998. Microsoft initiated an IT revolution in Hyderabad before 2000s according to him and TCS will replicate this effect in Vizag shortly.
Lokesh stated that Vizag is now recognized as Andhra Pradesh's financial capital and will continue to attract new investments and job opportunities in the future.
Through Minister Lokesh’s global initiatives like US tech corridor roadshows and policy introductions Andhra Pradesh has established itself as a major player in the IT and electronics sector. The State has revealed progressive policies for semiconductors and electronics manufacturing as well as data centres and global capability centres that provide top-tier industry incentives.
